1988 gründeten sich die Rockband Terry Hoax in Hannover. Bereits ein Jahr später unterschrieben sie ihren ersten Plattenvertrag und tourten acht Jahre erfolgreich durch ganz Europa. Ihre größten Hits Policy Of Truth und Insanity sind noch immer die meistgespielten Songs einer deutschen Band auf MTV.

1996 löste sich die Band auf und kam wie aus dem Nichts 2008 zurück. Mittlerweile haben sie neun Alben veröffentlicht und gingen zuletzt 2022/23 auf Tour.

Gründungsmitglied Martin Wichary kehrt 2024 in die Band zurück und noch in dem Jahr werden neue Songs veröffentlicht. Terry Hoax gelten als eine der besten Live-Bands Deutschlands. Ihre unbändige Spielfreude, ihr Humor und ihre Energie lassen niemanden kalt!
